A larger and growing band program is cause for much excitement with The Randolph County High School Marching Band in 2013. The band will be taking the field with 43 members.   Band director Adrian Peters says “we have a young band and they have worked extremely hard to put on this exciting show”.  The theme for this year’s show is “Into The Night”.
The show consists of the following music: “I Gotta Feeling” by Paul Murtha, “Rock That Body” by Nick Baratta, “Calle Ocho/Llorando Se Fue” by Jay Dawson, a drum feature with “Chili Cheese Dog” by Chris Crockarel  and “We Are Young” by Tom Wallace.   There will also be a trumpet solo by Breanna Nicholson during this year’s half time show.
A strong bad program has strong leadership and this year’s leaders include: Drum Major, Cessily Goodwin; Percussion Captain, Robert Tittle; Brass Captain, Breanna Nicholson; Color Guard Captain, Karla Trejo and Co-Captain, Taylor Reynolds; Danceline Captain, Brianna Screws and Co-Captain Mayra Ortiz.
